3D Scanner is a powerful tool that enables you to scan places and objects in vibrant 3D. To utilize this app, you'll need a LIDAR camera sensor device, such as the iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro.

With 3D Scanner, sharing your 3D scans is effortless. Easily send them via iMessage and view them using AR Quicklook in the USDZ format. You can also export your scans in several popular formats including OBJ, GLTF, GLB, DAE, and STL. Additionally, you can export your model as a raw point cloud in formats such as PTS, PCD, PLY, XYZ, and LAS. Moreover, the app provides the functionality to export floorplan images in DXF.

Not only can you make use of geo-referenced LAS point clouds in programs like ArcGIS, but you can also export the raw data of your scans along with photos into other photogrammetry apps like Pix4D and Reality Capture.

With built-in editing capabilities, you can easily refine and crop your models on your device. The best part is that there's no sign-up required, and no internet connection or cloud-based processing is necessary to process and share your scans. It's completely free! There are no limits to how many LIDAR scans you can capture.

By using 3D Scanner, you can scan the entirety of your house in exquisite 3D detail, including individual rooms, backyards, and gardens. Once scanned, these models can be seamlessly imported into popular 3D modeling programs like Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Maya, and more.

In addition to scanning places and objects, you can also employ the RoomPlan scan feature to swiftly capture floor plans. For smaller objects, TrueDepth mode enables highly accurate scanning. Moreover, "Photo mode" with the "Object Capture" photogrammetry API allows you to create highly detailed HD models.

Sharing your models has never been easier with the new "share to web" feature, allowing you to easily share them from a web browser.

Take measurements of your scans using the virtual ruler feature. You can even create and measure bounding boxes to capture the width, length, and height of your models.
